We are currently seeking a reliable and hard‑working Picker/Cleaner to join our recycling facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing nonferrous and non‑metallic materials from conveyor belts, maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work areas, and assisting with general upkeep of the shredder facility. This is an active, hands‑on role requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. This is a Union position with benefits included.

Shift is 0700 AM – 3:30 PM. Shift will be worked in Camden, NJ.

• Sort and remove materials such as trash, wood, paper, and plastics from conveyor belts.
• Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place onto conveyor belts for further processing.
• Clean the recycling yard using rakes, brooms, and by manually picking up debris.
• Maintain cleanliness of conveyor belts and facility prior to and during production.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills.
• Capable of lifting and handling up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of the job.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a recycling or industrial environment is a plus but not required.
• Work is primarily performed outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
• This is a Union position.
