Parts Production Supervisor-Nightshift

The Parts Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the greening, engine prep and engine drop process, as well as providing directional support to personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supervise the engine drop and greening procedures, including the extraction of fluids and preparation of vehicles for engine removal.

* Direct the process of removing batteries, cutting Freon lines, and detaching catalytic converters from vehicles

* Manage the removal of various small parts from the vehicle, such as headlights, taillights, doors, fenders, and hoods

* Verify that no hazardous materials remain in vehicles through quality control checks.

* Perform pre-checks of the production line at the start of the day using a maintenance report to ensure everything is in proper working order.
This career requires experience in the automotive industry, supervising a team, as well as the ability to perform successfully in a production environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

* Ability to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment.

* Knowledge of all makes and models of cars.

* Ability to communicate effectively with management.

* Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* High school diploma or GED-equivalent.

* 2-3 years of automotive experience required.

* Production and supervising experience preferred.
