Position: Product Inventory & Service Coordinator (Float) - Per Diem

Overview

The Product Inventory & Service Coordinator will support patients and staff in patient care equipment procurement, distribution and storage.

The objective is to ensure patients and customers receive excellent care and staff has proper tools.

Responsibilities
  • Requisition and maintain supply inventory, establish and monitor inventory levels in collaboration with clinical staff.
  • Perform physical inventory and coordinate equipment needs, rentals, returns, purchases, inventories and repairs with CSS, Biomedical, Plant Services, Support Services and all patient care areas.
  • Locate equipment using tracking system; document issues, repairs and location; may make minor repairs.
  • Collect data and report monthly rental usage and cost; document purchased items and data needed or desired by units.
  • Track surgical implants to ensure correct charges, availability and appropriate information in OR system.
  • Analyze data to identify improvements; educate staff on proper equipment usage for patient and staff safety.
  • Order accessory items for all departments as needed.
  • Work with OR to assemble, disassemble and manage orthopedic traction and trapeze equipment; assist with cleaning according to manufacturer recommendation.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of inventory-related computer systems.
  • Previous experience with equipment repairs, contractors and tracking; ability to collect and analyze data and make operational improvements.
  • Computer literate with Excel and Word.
Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Licensure

Driver's License.

Rate

Hourly Rate: $19.99 - $29.99 (varies with experience and internal equity).
