Kinney Homecare Billing Representative

Job Summary: Collect, post and facilitate account payments while ensuring excellent customer service. Work with insurance companies when necessary to obtain timely results.

• Responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments.
• Prepare and submit claims to various insurance companies and follow up as appropriate.
• Prepare, review, and issue patient statements. Resolve patient billing complaints/issues.
• Perform various collection actions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role.
• Preferred:
  Experience in the DME or health-care industry.

• High school diploma.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Drug test.
• Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
• Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position.

$18.50 - $20.67 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
