The Nuclear Med Technologist II PRN operates PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging devices in compliance with state guidelines and maintains required licensure for conducting CT portions of nuclear medicine exams. The role requires completion of an approved nuclear medicine training program and applicable certifications such as ARRT or NMTCB. The position emphasizes patient communication and adherence to safety and clinical protocols in a healthcare setting.

Short Description
• Ability to operate a PETCT and SPECT/CT unit under the guidelines of the State of NJ.
• Maintains additional licensure to perform CT portion of the Nuclear Medicine exam with either an X-ray license of a or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology license
Experience Required
0-2 years
Completion of clinical training through NM training program or college requirements
Education Requirements
Graduate of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Medicine
HS diploma required
License/Certification Requirements
ARRT or NMTCB
NJDEP – Nuclear Medicine
NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology
Special Requirements
Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
