Position: MRI TECHNOLOGIST

MRI TECHNOLOGIST at Cooper University Health Care summary:

The MRI Technologist conducts MRI procedures by following radiologist protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They are responsible for patient screening, image acquisition, documentation, and usage of MRI-compatible equipment. This role requires at least one year of MRI experience, relevant certification, and strong organizational and communication skills in a healthcare setting.

Short Description

SIGN ON BONUS 5K with 1 Year Commitment

$1666 paid on or after 90 days

$1666 paid on or after 6 months

$1666 pain on or after 1 year

  • Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety
    concerns/contraindication.
  • Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists.
  • Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in
    GE IDX PACS system.
  • Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients
    when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and communication skills needed to effectively orchestrate
    daily workflow of patients.
Experience Required

1+ years MRI experience;

Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred, but not necessary

Siemens/Toshiba experience preferred.

Education Requirements

Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program

License/Certification Requirements

Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists);

Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support
