Staff Accountant

A well-established organization located along the Camden waterfront is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a strong opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on exposure to core accounting functions while working closely with experienced leadership.

What You’ll Work On

• Assist with monthly financial reporting and analysis to support management decision-making
• Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Analyze profit center performance by applying accounting fundamentals and business knowledge
• Review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support commission calculations and reporting on a monthly and annual basis
• Help reconcile cash collections and ensure revenue is properly recognized on an accrual basis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and benefits-related financial analysis
• Participate in internal financial meetings and cross-functional requests

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
