Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer (Combat) - Early Career.

In this role, you will design, integrate, and test Command, Control and Communications (C3) systems. C3 systems perform multiple critical functions such as radar and sensor management, track filtering, track management including correlation/association, control of multiple communication links, threat evaluation and prioritization, and command of weapon systems for target engagement or assignment.
The successful candidate will have a familiarity in the usage and application of Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar programming language. Must be a US Citizen.;
This position will require a government security clearance.;
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable STEM discipline.

• Foundation in systems-engineering principles such as requirements allocation, traceability, and authoring; system design and algorithm development; test-data analysis; and system integration and verification.

• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or comparable scripting languages for analysis, modeling, and automation.

• Must be a US Citizen.;
This position will require a government security clearance.;

Desired

Skills:

• Experience with model-based system engineering. (activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.)

• Knowledge of algorithm development, data analysis, and system test.

• Experience with formal requirements verification, test procedure and test script development, and root cause analysis and resolution of defects.

• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Git.

• Experience with system integration and testing, and interfacing with software teams to communicate designs and troubleshoot issues.

• Familiarity with UNIX based OS.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
