Working as a Floater/Extended Teacher offers valuable experience and transferable skills for a rewarding career. The hours are 11am-5:30pm, working collaboratively with the Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a Head Start classroom, following the Head Start/Early Head Start schedule. Job Responsibilities- Planning and implementing learning experiences that promote children's intellectual and physical development, including literacy, phonemic awareness, print, numeracy, language, vocabulary, and problem-solving skills.
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment.
- Supporting the social and emotional development of children.
- Encouraging family involvement in the Head Start program and fostering relationships between children and their families.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Passion and commitment to working with children.
- Qualifications:
CDA credentials, or willingness to enroll and complete within two years; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any field; or enrollment in a program to obtain such a degree. - Alignment with our values:

This position offers pay up to $17.36 per hour.
