Job Description

• POSITION GOALS
  · The Assistant Esports Coach will help develop/grow the Esports program and will provide additional support to our student‑athletes.
  · The Assistant Esports Coach will remain consistent with Camden County College’s acknowledgement of the inherent value and dignity of all individuals by creating and nurturing a learning and working environment that affirms and leverages our community’s traditions, heritages, perspectives, and experiences. • Perform in‑game coaching, teaching, and instruction from the Esports arena at the William G. Rohrer Center in Cherry Hill.
• Assist the coaching staff in implementing and crafting new in‑game strategies, managing practices, and coordinating intercollegiate matches.
• Travel with team to and from competitions (where applicable).
• Monitor academic progress of student athletes.
• Assist with pre‑game and post‑game setup and production activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Esports Director.

• Strong knowledge and coaching ability in one or more of the following esports titles:
  Counter‑Strike:
  Global Offensive, Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, or Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.
• Familiarity with streaming platforms (such as Twitch.tv and You Tube) and streaming software.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, planning, leadership, attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, and sound judgement.
• Ability and commitment to instruct and motivate college student‑athletes.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population in a multicultural environment.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
