Posting Summary
Rutgers University-Camden is seeking Course Instructors for the Center for Executive Leadership in Government (CELG). The instructor will collaborate with content experts to develop non‑credit courses, provide pedagogical support, and share standard frameworks for Canvas modules.
Responsibilities- Instruct/co‑instruct non‑credit courses (traditional lecture, hybrid, online)
- Prepare course materials: syllabi, presentations, videos, hand‑outs, reading materials, case studies, discussion questions, knowledge checks
- Provide constructive feedback in online discussions and student work, ensuring training goals are met
- Respond to student emails and inquiries
- Adhere to grade submission policies and deadlines (if applicable)
- Adhere to University policies and regulations
- Practice innovative educational methodology
The instructor will collaborate on non‑credit course content development, content delivery, material revisions, and online audio/visual presentations for the following programs:
- Mini Master in Public Administration
- Public Leadership
- Strategic Communications
- Elevating Personal Leadership Skills
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum experience:
2 years working in or with non‑profit, Federal, County, or Local government organizations; instructional experience or completion of a Train‑the‑Trainer program; government, nonprofit, or professional teaching/course development experience.
Salary: A minimum of $100 for the contract period.
