Position Summary

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts at Rutgers University‑Camden is hiring Part‑time Lecturers to teach syllabus topics in Animation, Graphic Design, Painting, Photography, Sculpture/Intermedia:
Art & Technology, Art History, Museum Studies, Music, Theater, Filmmaking, and Dance during Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026. The instructor will present course material during scheduled class times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, and coordinate any other course‑instructional requirements.

• Deliver lesson content in assigned courses.
• Hold scheduled office hours for student consultation.
• Administer examinations, quizzes, and other assessments.
• Assign grades and manage course grading procedures.
• Coordinate additional instructional duties as required.

• Master’s degree required;
  Doctoral degree preferred for some disciplines.
• Relevant field experience may be required.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with the discipline(s) taught.

Minimum $2,777 per credit. Final salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, and department or grant funding.
