Location: Camden, ME 04843
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Weekly Pay: $2120 - $2280
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the infection prevention and control program.
- Monitor infection trends and investigate outbreaks.
- Conduct facility-wide surveillance of infections.
- Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local infection control regulations.
- Lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives related to infection control.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement best practices.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in infection prevention and control.
- Experience in long-term care, Genesis and/or PCC required.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of infection control standards, regulations, and evidence-based practices.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
