Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and directing guests to the proper check-in locations;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns;
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and report unusual conditions according to site procedures;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities and communicating with site representatives and/or public responders when needed;
Complete routine logs and incident reports, document patrol findings, and follow post orders related to restricted areas and controlled information environments
