Quality Technician/ Inspector, Quality Control / Manager
You will be the Quality Inspector for the Quality Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring missile, launcher, and related product integrity through rigorous inspection and compliance.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Quality Inspector you will work in various environments helping to ensure that missiles, launchers, and other products that will protect our nation from its adversaries conform to requirements and function as expected.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform visual inspections on in-process and completed products as per defined planning/work instructions
- Check dimensions, verify functionality and perform required quality inspections defined in planning/work instructions
- Create quality/service notifications for all noted nonconformance's, perform sorts and stock purges
- Work from blueprints/drawings, interpret specifications
- Audit assigned work area for compliance to requirements such as age of materials, calibrations of equipment, area content and tagging

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Manufacturing, production, or quality experience
- Position requires special access facility and US citizenship
- Must be able to work in various climates and around explosives
- Experience using inspection tools such as digital calipers, go/no go gauges, micrometers, fixtures and other basic gauges
- Experience working with inspection instructions, blueprints/drawings, and specifications
- Prior inspection experience in a production environment
- Prior SAP/APRISO/MRO Software experience is a plus (on the job training will be provided)
- Strong teaming ability and effective communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to work independently
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
