Job Describtion:

Responsible for assisting teacher(s) in the preparation, instruction, and management of classroom activities and duties. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend staff development meetings and in-service workshops.

Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic.

Assist teacher(s) in preparing instructional materials, classroom displays, and instructional activities.

Provide instructional activities to individual or small groups of students.

Assist in supervising students, both inside and outside classroom, including cafeteria, bus duty, and playground.

Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom.

Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.

Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of 60 college hours or pass Praxis exam.
