Assembly Technician
ReeVR Talent is looking for a detail-focused Assembly Technician to support the preparation and assembly of components.
The role of the Assembly Technician plays a key part in our manufacturing operation. You will be responsible for handling, inspecting, and preparing extremely delicate components prior to and during assembly.
Due to the value and sensitivity of these parts, strict adherence to procedures and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician
Prepare and assemble components and sub-assemblies in line with BOMs, travellers, and build documentation
Handle fragile, high-value components
Verify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and serial numbers to ensure accuracy and traceability
Carry out visual inspection of components to identify damage, contamination, or non-conformance
Maintain accurate records within ERP/MRP and inventory systems
Package, label, and protect components for internal transport and storage
Work closely with assembly, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues
Support stock control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy
Contribute to continuous improvement of assembly and material handling processes
Key Skills & Competencies for the Assembly Technician
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Confident handling delicate, precision components
Strong manual dexterity and controlled working style
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and documentation
Good IT skills for data entry and system updates
Able to concentrate on repetitive, high-precision tasks
Reliable team player with clear communication skills
Experience Required
Previous experience in assembly or warehouse operations within a precision manufacturing or high-tech environment
Experience handling one or more of the following:
Small Scale Components
Experience working with BOMs, or controlled production documentation
Experience using ERP/MRP or inventory systems is desirable
Personal Attributes

Comfortable working with expensive, business-critical components
