Houston & Hawkes are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in London. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced catering environment and takes pride in supporting smooth day-to-day service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care.

• Supporting food service and food preparation across the catering operation
• Assisting with setting up, serving and clearing food service areas
• Maintaining cleanliness across service and kitchen areas, including equipment and work surfaces
• Washing up and ensuring crockery, cutlery and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly
• Supporting deliveries, stock rotation and storage
• Providing friendly, professional customer service at all times
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
