SEN Teaching Assistant

A friendly and inclusive primary school in the borough of Camden is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision supporting pupils with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-resourced setting with a highly supportive SEN team.

The school's specialist provision is designed to provide pupils with a structured, nurturing environment where they can access learning with the support they need to thrive.

The Role:

Supporting pupils within the school's SEN specialist provision

Working 1:1 and in small groups with children with additional needs

Supporting pupils with learning, communication and emotional development

Assisting the teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

Helping to create a positive, calm and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate :

Experience working with children with SEN, such as ASD, speech and language needs, or SEMH

Patient, resilient and nurturing approach

Confident supporting pupils who require additional behavioural or emotional support

Experience with in a primary school or specialist setting is desirable

Passionate about helping children reach their full potential
