SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN School – Camden – ASAP Start – Full Time – Long Term – £90–£110 Per Day (dependent on experience)

* Previous SEN experience is essential

The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Your role will involve helping the pupil engage with classroom activities, supporting emotional regulation and encouraging positive relationships with peers. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and understanding using tailored strategies to support the pupil’s individual learning and development. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies that promote engagement, confidence and progress.

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly ASD, is preferred.

The School – SEN Teaching Assistant

This incredible SEN school is located in Camden and is a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station. The school currently supports 82 pupils aged between 4 and 18 years old. Staff are dedicated to creating a nurturing, inclusive and supportive learning environment where every pupil feels safe, respected and encouraged to achieve their full potential. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including SEMH and ADHD, and has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
