Year 2 Teacher

A welcoming and well-regarded Primary School in the London Borough of Camden is seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join their team from April until the end of the academic year (July).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to take on a Year 2 class
, supporting pupils during an important stage of their learning as they continue their Key Stage 1 journey.

• Teaching a Year 2 class within a supportive Key Stage 1 team
• Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitoring pupil progress and supporting children to reach their full potential
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• A positive and collaborative approach to working within a school team

• Friendly and inclusive Primary School in Camden
• Supportive leadership and experienced staff team
• Well-resourced classrooms and learning spaces
• Easily accessible via public transport

• Start Date: April 2026
• Duration: Until the end of the academic year (July)
