The successful Behaviour Support Mentor – Camden will work with students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who face barriers to their learning. As a Behaviour Support Mentor – Camden, you will implement bespoke intervention plans and provide the emotional guidance necessary for students to re‑engage with their studies. This Behaviour Support Mentor – Camden position offers significant professional development within the field of education and training.

The school is committed to restorative practice and provides extensive education and training and mentoring to ensure staff are equipped to de‑escalate challenging situations and foster a positive school culture.

• Delivering 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions to improve student engagement
• Developing and implementing behaviour reward schemes and inclusion strategies
• Liaising with the Assistant Headteacher and pastoral leads to monitor student conduct
• Acting as a positive role model and bridge between the classroom and home life

• Experience working with secondary‑aged pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with “hard to reach” youth
• A calm, firm, and fair approach to conflict resolution
