Location: Camden Town

ZEST Education are working with a highly regarded independent school in Camden to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursery Teacher for a full-time, permanent position (term time only).

This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who is committed to delivering high-quality education within a nurturing, well-resourced nursery setting. The role is ideal for a teacher who values play-based learning, strong relationships, and outstanding EYFS practice.

The Role:

As Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for children aged 2–4, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will work closely with a supportive team to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS lessons and activities

* Support children’s learning and development through play-based and child-led approaches

* Observe, assess and track progress in line with EYFS requirements

* Create a warm, structured and engaging classroom environment

* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing progress and feedback

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the nursery

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent EYFS qualification

* Proven experience teaching within an EYFS or nursery setting

* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development

* Enthusiastic, creative and child-centred approach

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
