Learning Support Assistant

A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a KS2 class from January. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils, supporting learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

Learning Support Assistant (KS2 Class)

Full time - temporary (January to end of academic year)

Pay: £500 - £560 per week

• Support pupils within a KS2 class during lessons and structured activities.
• Work alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement and independence.
• Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups when required.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and daily routines.

• Experience supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
• Experience working within KS2 or similar age groups.
• Able to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils.
• Calm, patient and supportive approach to learning.
• Available full time from January for the duration of the role.

• A friendly and supportive school environment.
• Clear routines and guidance from class teachers and leadership.
• Opportunity to gain long-term experience within as a Learning Support Assistant a KS2 setting.

• On-site support throughout the placement.

Trial days will be held initially.
