Billing Administrator (12-month fixed term)

Grade: ST6
Reports to: Billing Team Leader
About the roleDalkia Scotland is seeking a Billing Administrator to join our team. This role is key to ensuring our customers are accurately invoiced, queries are efficiently resolved, and accounts are managed with precision. You will play a vital part in helping Dalkia maintain its industry-leading reputation and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, attention to detail, and a desire to develop within a professional finance and billing environment.
Key responsibilities Billing & Invoicing- Process engineer completes to invoice
- Raise invoices through Business Central for assigned accounts
- Produce valuations and consolidated invoices
- Obtain order numbers/purchase orders from clients
- Attend invoice query meetings and address credit control queries
- Raise credit requests as appropriate to resolve client issues
- Liaise with Service Managers and clients regarding billing methods, presentation, and agreed rates/SOR changes
- Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others
- Internal: Service teams, other departments, internal customers
- Previous administration experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem‑solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Engineering background or experience working with mobile teams
- Teamwork: Contributes actively and supports team effectiveness
