One of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction and manufacturing companies has an opportunity available for a Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk 2-year apprenticeship with the opportunity of becoming permanent to assist the accounts team with various accounting duties.

Hours are full time Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm (core flexible hours available once trained)

• Assisting the accounts team with various duties
• Posting purchase invoices to the correct accounts by computer
• Processing payment runs
• Reconciling of statements
• Dealing with account queries

• Reliable
• Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to work on own as well as part of a team

• Experience is not essential as full training will be provided, however any existing experience would be an advantage
