Salary: £38,000+ DOE & Quals
Contract: Full-time Permanent - Monday to Friday, 07 00.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing building services organisation for a motivated and ambitious Electrician to join their Maintenance team, covering sites in and around Cambridgeshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who is confident working independently and takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship. Working in close partnership with clients, this role requires not only technical competence but also strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance and refurbishment works across various sites
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project delivery
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and health & safety procedures
• Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used and time allocation
• Identifying improvements and contributing to best practice development
• Supporting junior engineers and apprentices where required

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• Experience with in commercial, industrial or facilities environments
• A strong understanding of domestic and commercial electrical systems
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• A valid UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Test & Inspection qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
• Willingness to upskill in PV systems
• Site management experience, including coordinating subcontractors
