Actaris Site Services is looking for a Brand Host in Cambridge City Centre.
Brand Host
Rate: £12.21/hour + pro-rata performance incentives
Contract:

About Us
We’re an independent jewellery brand opening our first permanent store in the heart of Cambridge. We care deeply about product, impact, and customer experience, and we’re equally serious about running a commercially strong business.
We’re building a small, high-performing team and are looking for confident, reliable Brand Hosts who enjoy working with people, take pride in presentation, and want to be part of a growing brand.
The Role
As a Brand Host, you are the face of the shop. You’ll create a warm, welcoming experience for every customer while actively supporting sales, standards, and day-to-day operations.
This isn’t just about being friendly; you’ll be part of a team that cares about conversion, storytelling, and getting the details right.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
* Welcome customers and create a high-quality in-store experience
* Confidently communicate product details, materials, and brand stories
* Support sales through thoughtful recommendations and upselling
* Process transactions accurately and professionally
Shop Standards & Operations
* Maintain tidy, well-stocked, visually strong displays
* Receive and replenish stock; assist with online order packing during quieter periods
* Follow opening and closing procedures when required
* Keep the shop clean, organised, and consistently on-brand
Team & Performance
* Work collaboratively with the store manager and wider team
* Take feedback on board and contribute to a culture of high standards
* Represent the brand with professionalism and care at all times
Pay & Incentives
£12.21/hour (minimum wage) plus team-based performance incentives, paid pro-rata based on hours worked.
Incentives are linked to store performance and key sales periods, meaning you share fairly in the success you help create.
Who Is This Role For:
* Confident with people and comfortable starting conversations.
* Reliable, organised, and proud of high standards.
* Interested in retail, fashion, jewellery, or premium customer experience.
* Motivated by contributing to results, not just clocking in.
* Retail experience is helpful but not essential; attitude and professionalism matter most.
Contract & Hours
This is a zero-hours contract, with shifts offered based on business needs and performance.
All roles are subject to an initial review period to ensure reliability, standards, and overall fit.
