Quality Inspector

Location: Waterbeach

A Quality Inspector with proven experience of working within an electronic manufacturing environment and knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies will join the production team of an award-winning Technology Company.

The successful Quality Inspector will ensure that only conformed products enter the production process; identifying defects early and reducing rework as well as supporting root cause analysis and maintaining detailed documentation.

Skills and Experience should include:

* Previous experience of working within a manufacturing quality / inspection environment.

* Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

* The ability to read engineering schematics and drawings and with basic soldering skills.

* Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

* Strong written communication and documentation skills.

* Willingness to be full office based.

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector role:

* Perform inspections using appropriate methods and removing non-conforming products.

* Communicate quality expectations across production to ensure right first time delivery.

* Create and maintain inspection documentation and records.

* Support root cause analysis teams.

* Manage calibration activities
