John Banks Group, in partnership with Renault UK, is launching a ground-breaking Recovery Excellence Hub at our Mercers Row site in Cambridge. This dedicated centre supports recovered Renault, Dacia, and Alpine vehicles with advanced diagnostics, rapid warranty processing, and manufacturer-led technical expertise.
We are looking for highly skilled Master Technician who want to be part of a pioneering team at the forefront of innovation, technology, and brand collaboration.
This is not a traditional workshop role it is a chance to help shape the future of a new, specialist operation.
The Role
As a Master Technician within the Recovery Excellence Hub, you will:
Lead advanced diagnostics, fault-finding, and complex investigations on recovered vehicles across Renault, Dacia & Alpine brands.
Complete warranty repairs using full manufacturer labour allowances, tools, and technical guidance.
Work closely with the Hub Service Team to ensure vehicles are restored safely, quickly, and to the highest Renault Group standards.
Support continuous improvement to help shape how the Recovery Hub evolves over time.
Collaborate directly with manufacturer technical contacts to ensure best-in-class outcomes.
This is a critical position within a flagship operation, offering exposure to advanced systems, specialised workflows, and the opportunity to be seen as a technical leader within the Renault UK network.

About You
We are seeking Master Technicians who can demonstrate:
Full Level 3 qualification with Master Technician or equivalent manufacturer-level accreditation.
Strong capability in advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
Experience with in Renault Group brands is ideal, but not essential.
A professional, methodical approach and pride in technical accuracy.
