Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised and highly motivated individual to join the Primary Care Liaison Service.
The Primary Care Liaison Service sits at the interface between Cambridge University Hospitals and primary care. Our priority is to facilitate effective communication, working and learning between Primary Care and the Trust to create sustainable inter-professional relationships needed for an efficient healthcare system for optimal patient care.
This is a Fixed Term / Secondment role reporting to the Primary Care Liaison Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to those working in primary care with a variety of queries involving discussion with colleagues within the Trust and healthcare systems.
- Appreciate and be aware of key themes and issues reported, and with strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Excel) support the analysis and presentation of the data collected.
- Support the management of key communication mechanisms between the Trust, primary care and system partners including maintaining the CUH GP website.
- Develop and maintain good communication links between Primary Care and the Trust, ensuring that queries and/or concerns from Primary Care are acted on and dealt with appropriately.
- Help maintain the Trust’s GP website which is a critical resource for Primary Care.
Experience in a healthcare or primary care setting is desirable.
Strong communication and flexible interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
