About the role

As our Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance across our home. You’ll walk the home daily to proactively identify any areas that need attention, while also conducting regular safety checks on various equipment. You’ll create a maintenance programme for the home alongside our Home Manager and of course you’ll interact with our residents on a daily basis – so you’ll be friendly, caring and kind while respecting our residents’ dignity at all times.

Some Other Important Things You Need To Know
  • You will need to be available for on‑call maintenance
  • You will need to be experienced at painting and decorating; having electrical and plumbing skills would be beneficial but not essential
  • You will need to demonstrate excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Food Safety
  • You will keep up‑to‑date and accurate records of all checks and repairs completed and scheduled
