Management Accountant

Location: Cambridgeshire

Pure are partnering with an organisation based in Cambridge to appoint a Management Accountant, this is a number 2 role to the CFO and a great opportunity to work with a strong mentor.

This role will be responsible for leading month end close, management reporting and budgeting ensuring accurate financial information to key decision makers. This position will also have line management of a Finance Assistant. The key duties are as follows
- - Lead and coordinate month end close across all entities
- Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.
- Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process
- Lead the preparation of in year forecasts and work closely with budget holders to support the understanding of financial results.
- Assist the CFO with the preparation for the annual statutory audit
- Coordinate the preparation of audit schedules.

You must be ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified and have proven experience of month end close reporting and budgeting in a complex finance environment.
