A well-established firm in the accountancy sector is expanding its corporate tax offering in Cambridge and is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager. You'll manage your own portfolio of corporate clients, working with ambitious OMBs, larger group structures and PE-backed businesses, while supporting Partners on higher-level advisory projects.

This Corporate Tax Manager opportunity offers a genuine blend of compliance and advisory, with real autonomy and visibility.

Based in Cambridge within the accountancy space, you'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of corporate clients. The work spans owner-managed businesses, growing groups and private equity-backed entities, giving you exposure to both technical complexity and commercial decision-making.

You won't be siloed. Compliance is part of the role, but advisory and planning work are equally central.

• Managing a portfolio of corporate clients across OMBs and larger groups
• Overseeing and reviewing corporation tax compliance work
• Advising on restructures, group planning and growth strategies
• Supporting Partners on transactions, due diligence and PE-backed projects
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering clear, practical advice
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients
• Monitoring WIP and contributing to fee discussions
• Developing and mentoring junior team members

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified
• Strong corporate tax experience gained within practice
• Confident managing your own client portfolio
• Experience of both compliance and advisory work
• Exposure to group structures and ideally PE-backed businesses
• Commercial awareness and strong client-facing skills

• £65,000 - £75,000 per annum depending on experience
• Broad exposure to OMBs, larger groups and investor-backed businesses
• Direct Partner involvement and advisory experience
• Clear progression towards Senior Manager
• A well-regarded Cambridgeshire-based international Practice team
