Finance Manager

This role is offered on a secondment basis only until 31 March 2027.

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager in the Specialised Commissioning team in the East of England region.

We are looking for an individual who can operate in a fast‑paced and exciting environment and who can bring not only previous experience but diversity in thought and background to an established team.

The key elements of the role will include, but not be limited to:

• Support the delivery of timely and accurate reporting of financial performance across the East of England Region.
• Working with the Operational financial team to identify and assist in ensuring performance concerns are addressed.
• To liaise with central and regional teams to develop, understand and interpret policy and advice & disseminate and confirm compliance with accordingly.
• To support the team’s role in the financial planning process.
• To support the provision of analytical financial support.

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
