Technical Manager; Accounting

They support a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from ambitious SMEs to large, complex organisations. Working closely with the Technical and Compliance team, you will:

• Support internal teams with queries across audit, financial reporting, ethics, AML and specialist compliance areas such as pensions, FCA and SAR
• Research complex technical issues and summarise findings clearly for non-technical audiences
• Draft internal guidance, policy updates, and external insights for clients
• Support delivery of training and knowledge-sharing across the business
• Monitor new legislation & standards - helping keep the firm ahead of industry change
• Get involved in ad-hoc projects, consultation responses and cross-department collaboration

This is a role with fantastic visibility, interacting with senior stakeholders and influencing firm-wide direction on compliance and technical excellence.

• ACA or ACCA qualification
• Strong technical financial reporting knowledge (IFRS experience advantageous)
• Audit background desirable (but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce concise, clear summaries
• Confident communicator who enjoys working with others
