Multi-Skilled PPM Engineer - Mon-Fri Days - £48,000-£50,000 + Package

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Multi-Skilled PPM Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this key role, you'll ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all production equipment, supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime.

- Carry out and optimise Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.

- Investigate root causes of failures and implement long-term corrective actions.

- Maintain accurate records using CMMS and support stock control.

- Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.

- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.

- Work closely with production teams to deliver engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, including PUWER and LOLER.

About You:

- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or similar) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.

- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

- Experience with PPM, reliability-centred maintenance, and continuous improvement techniques.

- Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with good IT and CMMS experience.
