Production Engineering Manager

Award winning High-Tech Company seeks a Production Engineering Manager with the capability to lead a new department from transfer of engineering designs through to production and process improvement. You should bring knowledge across mechanical, electronics and optics. Generous salary package on offer.

The successful Production Engineering Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across electronics, mechanical and software production engineering; ensuring DFM, DFA and DFT principles are adhered to as well as working within ISO
9001 standards.

Essential skills and experience should include:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering related subject.
• Extensive experience in production / manufacturing engineering or NPI leadership within a technology based environment.
• Proven Experience of managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of electronic manufacturing and PCB assembly, mechanical production processes and production test systems. Optics knowledge highly beneficial.
• Proven knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFT principles.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
• What would make your application stand out is experience of scaling complex electromechanical products into volume production; familiarity with Lab View; experience with CAD and hardware design.
