This principal or senior electrical engineer role is to be part of a building services design team delivering innovative and creative solutions. Project types range from healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, zero carbon and public sector.

Responsibilities

* You will be a vital part of the team and have a high degree of autonomy, combined with support as needed.

* Working as part of a larger team on certain projects

* Attending meeting with clients and other construction professionals.

* Helping generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients

* Working on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors

* Producing drawings and specifications

* Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them

Experience & Qualifications

* Ideally a degree in electrical or building services engineering, or HNC / HND with relevant design experience.

* Ideally chartered or working towards

* Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience of design in building services, post qualification completion

* Experience of design software

* Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.

* An enthusiasm to continue professional development
