Multi-Skilled Engineer
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our production team. This role focuses on maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Details
Salary:
Starting circa £45,000 - £47,000.
Hours:
40 hours per week on a rotating double-day shift pattern.
Shifts:
Week 1:
Mon-Thu (06:00-14:00), Fri (05:00-12:00)
Week 2:
Mon-Thu (14:00-22:00), Fri (12:00-19:00).
Overtime:
Paid at Time and a Half (Mon-Sat) and Double Time (Sun).
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues in commercial and industrial systems.
Install electrical systems to 17th/18th edition regulations.
Conduct routine maintenance on production machinery, LV systems, and control circuits.
Perform root cause analysis to prevent repeat equipment failures.
Calibrate equipment, including roll gaps and encoder feedback.
Requirements
Essential:
Electrical Apprenticeship and previous experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
Technical:
Knowledge of IEE regulations and ability to read electrical schematics.
Desirable:
City & Guilds 2360/2382, Inspection & Testing (2391), and PLC/Automation knowledge.
General:
Valid Driver's License and high safety awareness.
