FPGA Firmware Electronics Engineer – Defence – Cambridge

We are currently seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers who assist in the development of brand‑new technologies for the Defence sector, with a focus on defence rather than offence.

• Assist in the design and implementation of FPGA firmware using VHDL or Verilog.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams and external groups to develop communications, sensors, detection and other complex defence technologies.
• Obtain and maintain the required security clearance for defence projects.
• Contribute to the continuous learning and skill development while inventing exciting new technologies.

• Degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
• Experience with FPGA firmware development (VHDL or Verilog).
• Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for defence work.
• Background or interest in the defence sector is advantageous but not required.
