Teaching Assistants — Primary (Cambridge)
Contract and Hours- Contract:
Temp to long-term/permanent potential - Hours:
Mon-Fri, 8:30-3:30 (full-time & part-time available) - Start:
Ongoing
Support pupils across primary year groups in welcoming, well-resourced schools in Cambridge and surrounding towns & villages. Posts include 1:1 support and general classroom TA work—both in class and, at times, outside.
- You will:
- Assist with learning activities and classroom routines
- Adapt support for pupils with varying needs and abilities
- Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Experience:
6+ months in a school or similar educational setting within the last 3 years - Qualification:
TA qualification desirable (not essential) - Safeguarding:
Willing to complete interview/reference checks and hold (or obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
