Job Description:

Simply Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate)
Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs
Provide feedback to school staff as required

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum
Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Simply Education)
Professional, flexible, and reliable approach

Desirable:

Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
Subject specialism (all subjects welcome)
Availability for short-notice bookings
