Overview
A fabulous 3-day, live-out sole charge nanny position has become available, working with a professional and welcoming family in Cambridge CB1. The family is looking for a kind, calm and organised nanny who likes to have fun.
The hours are 08:00–18:30 on Tuesday to Thursday until 26 September. From September, hours change to 13:00–19:00 x 4 days during the school term and 08:00–18:00 during school holidays. The role can be offered on a fixed-term basis until September if preferred.
Responsibilities- Look after two children – a boy aged five and a girl aged three. The boy attends school in Cambridge; the girl will be at home with the nanny. The boy enjoys chess and has started learning the french horn. The girl enjoys gymnastics and role play.
- Nursery duties including children’s laundry and ironing, maintaining the children’s rooms and toys, and cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day.
- Oversee homework and manage school-related items such as uniforms and sports kits.
- Location:
Cambridge CB1. A car isn’t necessary as most destinations are cycling or walking distance; free parking is available about a 5-minute walk away. - Driving: not required; parking is close but not at the property.
- Start date:
24 February 2026 (note: confirm with employer). - Pay: £17.50–£19.00 gross per hour. This is a permanent role; there is also the option for fixed-term terms until September if preferred.
- Minimum Experience Level: At least two years as a nanny

Enhanced DBS (update) with update service and 12-hour Paediatric First Aid - Required Qualifications:
Ideally CACHE Level 3 - Work hours summary: 08:00–18:30 until 26 September; thereafter 13:00–19:00 x 4 days in school term and 08:00–18:00 in school holidays
