Temporary Financial Accountant

Location: Histon

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in North Cambridge, who are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to assist with project work for an initial period of around 6 weeks. This is a full-time position, and to be successful you will need to have strong technical accounting experience and be immediately available.

Typical duties include:

* Supporting technical accounting and financial reporting projects

* Assisting with the preparation and review of statutory accounts

* Supporting complex balance sheet reconciliations

* Reviewing accounting treatments and ensuring compliance with accounting standards

* Assisting with audit preparation and responding to audit queries

* Providing technical accounting guidance to the wider finance team

* Performing any other ad-hoc project work as required

You will have:

* Full qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)

* Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar technical role

* Strong technical accounting knowledge

* The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
