An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to provide expert perioperative care. This contract position is based in Cambridge, OH, offering a dynamic work environment within a well-established healthcare system.

Schedule and Hours:

• Work 36 hours per week
• Day shift options: either 7:00 a.m.
  
  - 7:30 p.m. or four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m.
  
  - 5:30 p.m.
• Rotating call schedule including weekends and weekdays, with Call 1 and Call 2 rotations
• Possible holiday call rotation depending on contract dates and facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
• Participate actively in the rotating call schedule, providing care as needed during off-hours
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth perioperative processes
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Experience with robotic surgery, neurosurgery, and orthopedic procedures highly recommended
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred

The facility reserves the right to cancel shifts up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract period. Shift lengths and schedules may vary depending on patient census and staffing needs.
