Ohio Health - - Responsibilities:
Uses proper equipment including commercial vacuums, auto scrub machines, buffers, upright scrubbing machines, and mops to complete daily assignments.;
Performs general operational maintenance on equipment (checks, electrical cords, water levels in batteries); ensures equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition; follows sign in/out procedures; identifies maintenance needs; reports and tags broken equipment.;
Performs cleaning other than routine, such as flood or disaster cleaning, terminal cleaning, construction cleaning.;
Uses chemicals and cleaning agents safely and follows MSDS guidelines and safety precautions.;
Trains new employees in floor care, chemical and cleaning agents, and safety protocols.
