Licensed Independent Social Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Independent Social Worker to join our brand new agency. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including trauma-informed clinical services, coordinate care with clients and families, conduct required assessments, and contribute to treatment planning for clients. • Provide individual, group and family therapy, as approved by scope of practice
• Conduct clinical assessments
• Contribute to CANS assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s circumstances
• Document all clinical services according to Department of Medicaid (ODM), CARF, Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), Department of Children and Youth (DCY), OhioRISE, and other agency standards
• Coordinate services with placing and referral agencies
• Participate in treatment team meetings and QRTP CFT Meetings
• Support discharge planning for reunification, foster care transition, adoption, or independent living
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EHR/Records
• Ensure documentation meets ODM, CARF, DBH, DCY, Title IV-E and insurance standards
• Maintain licensure requirements and continuing education
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and de‑escalation support
• Participate in on‑call rotation, as assigned
• Provide consultation to direct care staff regarding behavior plans and clinical recommendations
• Support trauma‑informed culture and participate in staff training
• Assist with audits, reviews, and compliance checks as requested
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards

• Master's Degree and valid licensure as an Independent Social Worker (LISW or equivalent).

• Experience and competency in using evidence‑based interventions and clinical techniques, specifical CBT and DBT interventions.

• Computer literacy.
• Creative, enthusiastic and flexible.
• Experience with adolescents, trauma and/or residential treatment is preferred.
• 8-10 years of LISW work preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
