Overview
Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1303) n to apply for the Guest Advocate role at Target.
Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.75 USD per hour
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve concerns
- Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events
- Be knowledgeable about Tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience
- Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with standards
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
- Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet
- Assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll and use these features
- Handle returns following store policies; partner with leaders as needed
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with stocking during store hours
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up, and related duties in compliance with laws and policies
- Perform other duties based on business needs
- You enjoy interacting with guests and helping team members
- You thrive in a fast-moving, active role requiring teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving
- You are open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- Effective communication and positive language; attentive to guests needs
- Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other equipment; work independently or with a team
- Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed
- Safely scan, handle, and move merchandise; lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required
- Ability to stay mobile during shift; adapt to varying temperatures and store conditions
