As a Dual School Based Therapist and Outpatient Therapist at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will have the unique opportunity to work within the community as a School Therapist with our partner, Hinckley-Finkyson Elementary School, two days a week, and the remaining days of the week will be spent working as an Outpatient Therapist. You will have the opportunity to implement high-quality, culturally-sensitive mental health services in a school setting and outpatient setting, servicing a diverse population of patients.

- Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to children, adolescents and their families in a school setting
- Assist children, adolescents and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals
- Design and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the child’s needs
- Work collaboratively with the school district, school personnel divisions, and other community-based agencies
- Provide psychoeducation to school staff
- Design and implement therapeutic groups for students
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
- Provide high-quality individual therapy
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be qualified in at least one of the following ways:
- Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
- Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.02
- Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota (for Mental Health Professional qualifications)
- Have completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional (for Clinical Trainee qualifiers)
- Ability to work independently; valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and email
Compensation: $54,000- $60,000 annually.
